About me...
Growing up, my parents encouraged me to spend a lot of time outdoors. In my neighborhood, at our family's farm or on vacation in the mighty Rocky Mountains, I was usually found climbing, hiking, exploring and observing…Outdoors! My exploration of nature helped light my career path. I studied Range and Ranch Management at Tarleton State University.
After graduation, I left for the Northern Rocky Mountain Region to join the Fire Management efforts of the U.S. Forest Service. Wildland Firefighters stay ready to respond and listen closely for the dispatcher's call. But we weren't getting paid to sit still. There were projects to be completed for other departments of the forest. I found there were opportunities to strengthen my tree care skills. Threading my way across timber logging units, I pruned pine trees and removed crowded Fur and Hemlock trees as directed by our District Forester. The chain saw was a very effective tool.
I learned that trees have great value and it requires many years investment of time and maintenance to keep them healthy. Trees growing, making shade for our homes, businesses and parks benefit a great deal from professional tree service. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to provide this service and to work for our environment.
My family and I enjoy living in Round Rock. I love working in Central Texas. There are many great parks and greenbelts to explore here. Our neighborhood trees are collectively called an Urban Forest. I am passionate about its health and sustainability. I continue to learn and practice this craft in order to provide high quality service to you and to improve the value and beauty of your environment.
Respectfully, Brent Cassens
